Details of our warm up event the night before the New Forest Masters - Our 2017 Coaching Night

Our coaching night has been the Pre Event for The New Forest Masters since we started the competition in 2013. This will be our 5th.  The Coaching Night has grown each year and we have had regular visits from players from all over the UK, Ireland and of course Del Jenkins all the way from Canada! Del is returning again this year !

Last year we broke away from our normal sports psychology session and did our own version of a Pentathlon tournament. It was a great success! So we are tweaking it again this year, but just a little bit.

First up we are going to do what has always been a popular session - the darts and flights experiment! Basically you can have a good old tamper with your kit and see if we can improve on your current set up. We will provide the kit and advice and explain what you should be looking for before you commit to changing things.

We will then have some food (we are thinking of maybe some sausage rolls, be quick though in case Tony legs it with them :))

and then crack on with the coveted DPC Coaching Night tournament in a bid to find the 2017 Champion. As we are playing a cut throat best of 5 at the New Forest Masters we will be playing some Pentathlon games and some straight 501 games but on the half size doubles and trebles boards! That will get your eye in!

The 2016 Members Night Finalists!

We will finish off with a de-brief at one of the fine local hostelrys!

Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a DPC member. We are looking forward to seeing the regulars but it is always great to see some new faces!

You can get your ticket here or if you have any questions please do get in touch. Doors OPEN at 6pm and we will look to get started at around 6.30pm
