Diogo Portela Sponsorship Deal

We have teamed up with Brazil World Cup player Diogo Portela!

We have agreed to sponsor Brazilian World Cup player and PDC contender Diogo Portela on a long term deal to get him through the Challenge Tour this year, any full PDC Player Championship events he is invited to and of course Q School in January 2018.

We first met Diogo when he phoned me 3 years ago asking about the New Forest Masters, a competition we stage usually in November. Diogo trained it down from London for the day and we hit it off straight away! We did a kit deal with him and kept in touch with his progress and then produced his signature darts too.

He turned to us and our video coaching service for help when his form slumped and he was considering quitting the game. He told Global Darts in a recent interview this:

“When I started doing the videos I had lost my last super-league game with 21 average per dart. It was in May 2016. In January 2017 I almost got my tour card. I think that explains a lot about what I think about the video analysis.”

Over the past 6 months Diogo has had a lot of interest in sponsors wanting to get involved with him and after a lot of thought we decided to offer Diogo our services. We were delighted when he agreed that we would make a formidable team and we met up recently to sign on the dotted line.

This is an opportunity we have been waiting to happen for a while. We have had hundreds of sponsorship opportunities offered to us but we always wanted a player that believed in what we did too in order that we could use our services and their skills to propel them to great things.
