Can you help getting Team Brazil ready for the PDC World Cup?

The 2017 PDC World Cup is looming on the horizon and Team Brazil are taking part! Diogo Portela who moved to London from Brazil to pursue his dream of becoming a Pro dart player is joined by fellow countryman Alexandre Sattin to make Team Brazil!

Diogo has been a regular visitor to our coaching room at the Darts Performance Centre and when we were offered the chance to give Brazil some help in preparing for the World Cup we leapt at it. Now we would like you to help too!

Alexandre has not had much experience of playing on stage, in fact he has had none. Noisy, boisterous crowds are also new to him so we came up with a plan! With the help of Johnny Stefano (Diogo’s County Manager) we have got a stage, MC and hopefully some good pairs teams to challenge Team Brazil and give Alexandre some realistic practice before the big event.

Johnny has the stage at the Plumstead Common WMC booked for Midday on Bank Holiday Monday, 29^th May. We want some volunteers to play and we want some noisy, boisterous fans to come along to re-create (as best we can) the atmosphere Diogo and Alexandre will be walking into in Germany on 1st June.

It’s free to come along. The bar will be open. If you fancy playing – we will be playing pairs – email your team to paul@dartsperformancecentre.com. We will let you know nearer the time if you’re going to be playing. Bring your darts along though anyway, there will be a chance to get a game on the day too.

It should be great fun but there is a serious side too. We believe this could be a tremendous help for Team Brazil,  the massive under-dogs causing a surprise. So get along to Plumstead Common and go Brazilian for a few hours!

The Darts Performance Centre is a resource to assist dart players of all standards play better darts. The site is arranged as an online coaching manual.
