Winmau World Masters Finals Day

We will have 3 Winmau World Masters by the end of today!

We had a day of high quality darts yesterday and we are now at the 1/4 Final stage for the Men's, the semi finals of the Ladies and the WDDA BDDA Final. So where to start!

First up our friend and BDO photographer David Gill played in the first round of the WDDA event. It was a fantastic achievement to qualify and despite going out 3:0 to Ricky Chilton it was a great experience, for all of us!

Earlier in the week our sponsored player Peter Sajwani introduced me to Vicky Pruim, he said meet The new Winmau World Masters Champion.

I never doubt Peter's word and after yesterday's performance by Vicky nobody now would be surprised if Peter's prediction came true. She was sensational and looked great with her DPC patch on! Vicky plays The Golden Girl today for a place in the Final.

The fixtures are as follows:

11:00 - WDDA Winmau World Disability Masters Final (best of 5 legs),
broadcast live on
Winmau TV

Vincent D'Hondt (Belgium) v Richard Green (England)

12:00 - Winmau World Masters - final day, broadcast LIVE on Premier Sports HD (free to view on Sky).

Men's Quarter Finals (Best of 7 sets of 3 legs)
Glen Durrant (1/3) v Wesley Harms (5/2)
John O'Shea (21/10) v Jamie Hughes (4/9)

Women's Semi-Final (Best of 7 legs)
Deta Hedman (1/3) v Maria O'Brien (3/1)

Men's Quarter Finals (Best of 7 sets of 3 legs)
Kiley Edmunds (2/1) v Mark McGeeney (4/9)
Darryl Fitton (6/5) v Scott Mitchell (4/6)

Women's Semi-Final (Best of 7 legs)
Trina Gulliver MBE (1/1) v Vicky Pruim (1/1)

Men's Semi-Finals (Best of 9 sets of 3 legs

Women's Final (Best of 9 legs)

Men's Finals (Best of 11 sets of 3 legs)

Tips

The bookies can't split Vicky and Trina but if Vicky plays like she did yesterday I can't see The Golden Girl stopping her. McGeeney has shown a great level of mental toughness this week and I fancy him and Durrant to win their games.
