The Women's Institute Coaching Session

We were paid a visit by the Hedge End WI for a coaching session.

On Saturday we were paid a visit by the Hedge End WI. They play in the same WI league as Colden Common WI who visited us a few months ago. After being beaten by Colden Common in their league game Hedge End decided that they too needed a little help from us as well.

The ladies came in for two hours on Saturday and we covered a range of topics during the session. We used the Winmau SightRight to get them lined up correctly on the oche. Then, we used our video analysis kit to video the team throwing and came up with ideas on how they may improve on their current technique.

The team then tried out some different flight and stem combinations and some different weights of darts. Then finally we went through some practice games to help them focus on the areas that they need work on and that are great fun to play rather than plain old 501 games during their weekly practice sessions.

It was great fun and the team had a good time and definitely improved in a number of areas, even in just two hours. These sessions would benefit teams of all standards-please do get in touch if you fancy bringing your team over!
