One darts era ends and another begins!

Double Top Finish !

The end of a darting era was sealed recently when Pat and Yvonne aka “The Ladies” sold off the last of their darts stock. The Ladies have been a fixture of the south coast darts scene for 17 years. During that time they have had 3 Double Top darts shops in Bournemouth, hosted appearances from The Power and The Bronzed Adonis amongst others and run a mobile shop at many events including The Hampshire Open and Mill Rythe.

As the Double Top story closes a new one has begun. The Double Top goods have been bought by Chris Skinner (pictured with Pat & Yvonne), Chris who until recently has been running the Petersfield Youth Darts Academy. Chris is launching a new EBay based shop specialising in darts kit from the barrel back-www.dartsflightcentre.com .

The new EBay shop is being launched today (1 August 2013). There is still a whole load of stock to still go on which Chris has promised will be added shortly. So keep checking back for lots of new arrivals at the Flight Centre! The Darts Flight Centre has a Facebook page here and you can follow The Darts Flight Centre on Twitter here!

Chris and me, Paul Gillings from the Darts Performance Centre are also teaming up though to continue Double Top’s mobile shop legacy and will be attending the Hampshire County Darts events from now on. This includes the Hampshire Open and the Hayling Island events.

The Double Top Ladies are looking forward to their retirement and Yvonne commented “We had a very enjoyable 17 years in the business and now look forward to attending some competitions to either enter or just enjoy watching”.
