Anthony looks ahead to the quarter finals tonight and we should be in for a cracker if his predictions are right!

Greetings folks!

Well 1 out of 3 may not be too good but the one I got right was the one I wanted right. I’m so pleased for Stephen, he is a good friend who I’ve known for a long time and for him to do what he did made me so happy. Well-done mate.

Only two games tomorrow. They are Martin Adams v Ross Smith, and Martin Philips vs Gary Robson.

As good as Ross has been playing, this maybe a bit too much for him, he is the underdog, but he has been all the time. It’ll be close but I’m going 5-3 for Martin Adams. Martin is one of those players that just gets better as the match and indeed the tournament goes on. Expect some good finishing (side bet 170 for Adams)

Second game sees an inform Gary obviously spurred on by his good friend Gary Anderson. A possible nine-dart game on the cards in this match. Martin Philips is again a good player, he is captain of Wales for what seems like one hundred and twenty million years. Steady tons, around the 15-18 dart leg point. Gary’s power scoring to take it here again, 5-3.

Well there you go folks my picks for today.

On a side note I would like to thank Paul for letting me contribute to this marvellous website- The Darts performance Centre, his brain-child, it has made me into a better player and this year will be the year when I will finally come into my own as a dart player.
