Our sponsored player Geert Nentjes was playing his first Pro Tour as a full card holder-He did well!

It was a sensational start for our sponsored player Geert Nentjes at his first Pro Tour since winning his full Tour Card!

Well actually, it was a sensational start to the second tournament of the weekend as Geert went out in the first round of the first tournament to Robert Marijanovic, 6:3. Geert hit two 180’s in the game and finished with an average of 96.8. A solid start.

On Sunday Geert faced Russian Boris Koltsov with Geert going through 6:5 with both players tied on a 92 average at the end. Next up was seasoned campaigner Mervyn King. Geert finished with a fantastic 107 average and annihilated The King 6:0 and popping in a 9 darter in leg 5!

Into the Last 32 and Geert drew Belgian Kim Huybrechts. The match went down to the wire and Geert just couldn’t get going in the deciding leg, as you can see from the graphic and went out 6:5.

Overall though an excellent start for Geert as a full tour card holder and there is plenty more to come from this up and coming young Dutch star!
